When you really stop to think about it, everything is in progress. Layer upon layer, every experience, every encounter, every thought, feeling and emotion is influenced by what has come before it, and likewise, what will come after. Like the waves of the sea, each carries with it pieces of where it’s been—continually adding, subtracting, and creating. Never the same. Always changing. The intersection of what is, what was, and what will be. That is where you find the soul.
